A photography blog. I shoot, I post. Sometimes personal, sometimes artsy, I'll try to post a few times a week. Based in Montreal, Quebec, but I travel around when I can.
I Will Never Forget
Not a bad motto to have, generally. Especially if you're a photographer.
The Montreal Metro System is full of cool things to shoot, but I'm pretty used to seeing it day in and day out. This is from the Villa Maria station. Taken in November.
The Christmas lights are up in the malls. In colour, this looked a little messy, but once I converted it to B&W, it took on a surreal quality that I like. Taken in Place Alexis Nihon in November.
They had my girlfriend and I over for breakfast. She did not stab him. At least, not while we were there. That may have happened later. I cannot confirm at this time.
It sort of reminds me of Donkey Kong. There wasn't much colour in this shot aside from red, but when I removed everything but the red, it really popped.
I had been trying to look for colour matches while on a photo walk, and I spotted the balloons and the flowers. I lined up my shot, and this guy holding a yellow bag cut through the frame.
Just a quick snapshot. I shot this one in black and white rather than using Photoshop to convert it later. This was taken sometime in October in my living room.
The Snowdon Theatre marquee in Montreal, on Decarie. A very deco sign that has outlived the theater itself. Taken as part of a homework project to illustrate lines in photography.
